Volunteers Needed

Richmond Council in conjunction with Idling Action (see  here) are holding an action day at Manor Road crossing on 21st February asking cars to switch off their engines whilst waiting at the level crossing or when waiting at Holy Trinity School on Carrington Road.

If anyone wishes to be involved, the session runs from 14.00 to 16.30  on 21 February. Volunteers need to register with Carol.Lee@richmond.gov.uk

The action day last week at Sheen Lane saw 94% of cars agree to switch off so let’s see what we can achieve at Manor Road.
