The Queen’s School, Kew, is an inclusive state Church of England primary school in the London Borough of Richmond led by Head Teacher, Katie Bentham. It is a Voluntary Aided, two-form entry school where all children are supported to reach their full potential through an approach steeped in the values of love, compassion and respect.
The Queen’s School has been recognised as outstanding by both Ofsted and SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglian and Methodist Schools) in 2017 and 2016 respectively; and both bodies acknowledged The Queen’s School as outstanding in leadership and management, Christian distinctiveness and character and the quality of teaching among other measures. In addition The Queen’s School has also achieved the School Games Mark–Gold Level for our commitment to the development of competition in both 2016 and 2017.
In 2016 the children and staff moved into the new school building with state of the art tools for learning as well as a new astro pitch and improved playground area. Its dedicated PSA (Parent Staff Association) fundraises actively to support the children’s learning and development in myriad areas always questing to Create a Brighter Future.
