Coronavirus – Kew Neighbour Association Update – 25th March

It is imperative Kew’s over 70’s and vulnerable adults stay at home.  KNA is inundated with volunteers who are under 70 years of age who can shop and pick up prescriptions for you.  People supported by KNA can phone Squires Food & Wine on Sandycombe Rd, in Kew with a shopping order, say they are with KNA and Squires will ask a KNA Volunteer to carry out the delivery.

Kew Street WhatsApp Groups.   Admins of WhatsApp groups in Kew are welcome to WhatsApp KNA on 07951 293 319 to introduce themselves.   We want everyone to know KNA volunteers are available if your street needs them AND it would be great to know if we can alert any of their willing helpers  to call on if KNA finds itself overstretched.

70 of KNA current volunteers are over 70 years of age.  It is time for KNA’s younger volunteers who are healthy to support them.  PLEASE stay at home and ask for help.

New Volunteers – if you’ve offered your help to KNA and not heard anything, we still NEED you.  We’ve changed how we operate to suit what’s needed – shopping, prescription pick ups and errands. That takes time.  We’ll get back to you very soon.  And we do welcome more offers of help.  Do email mail@kna.org.uk
