Coronavirus – local businesses helping!

Local shops and businesses are doing their best to help – and we need to support them!  The Greyhound pub on Kew Green are inviting you to order Mother’s Day dinners for pickup or delivery.  Our landmark Newens – Maids of Honour in Kew Road stress they’re a bakery/shop first of all and are offering free local delivery on orders over £20 – they can include toiletries as well as food and are very keen to support local people. Their website is being updated – or just give them a call! Sift Bakes and Brews on Mortlake Terrace have turned themselves into a take-away service. Others, such as the Kew Convenience Store, the Kew Bookshop, The Shoe Station [which also sells lots of gifts and things to keep the kids occupied] and Canopy are offering free deliveries. Orders can be taken on the phone. The Good Wine Shop is suspending its drinks service inside the store, but offering lots of remote delivery/collect options.  The local facebook group “Kew Friends” are swapping lots of news about shops and groups.
