We are delighted to welcome Adam Frost, the landscape designer who is passionate about what he does. He believes there’s inspiration all around us – in nature, architecture, art, people and food – we just have to take the time to stop and look around. He draws on memories, special places and people who have been influential to the way he designs. Adam cares that his garden designs are about creating personal spaces that people can feel comfortable in, places that actually feel ‘real’, as well as being beautiful. Adam has written a book entitled ‘Real Gardens’ about the memories and ideas behind his gold-medal winning Chelsea garden designs.
‘’People often ask me what I love most about gardening and quite simply, I adore being outside and watching the hedgerows spring into life each year. I love our distinct British seasons, each one celebrating something unique. I hope to pass on my passion and enthusiasm to our younger generations to appreciate the natural world around them.”
Tickets for this event are £20, to include coffee to be served from 10.30 and a light lunch and a glass of wine served after the talk, and may be purchased online here or at the church only on selected Sundays, currently Sundays 6 October, 3 November and 1 December. All Friends are eligible for a £5 discount.
