July 21 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm£2
An open allotment visit for children (aged 3 to 8)
Two KHS members, Emmeline Johnston and Louise Doidge, are arranging a fun open allotment morning for 10 lucky children aged 3-8 on Saturday July 21st 2018 at 10.30am.
Emmeline has a wonderful, large, prize winning allotment which is full of burgeoning fruit and vegetables. She is kindly inviting 10 children and their parents/grandparents/guardians to join her and Louise there on the morning of 21 July.
There will be fun activities, drinks and cakes. At the end of the morning the children will plant some seeds to take home with them. So why not come along and introduce the children to the joys of planting and growing?
The plan is for everyone to meet outside Homebase near North Sheen station at 10.00am on Saturday 21st July. There is ample car parking space at Homebase. Then we shall all walk together to the allotments which are about 100 yards away. The charge will be £2.00 per child which will be collected on the day. We will get started at around 10.30am and the session will end at 12 noon. It’s very important that we meet on time in the car park, due to the scheduled activities at the allotment site.
Numbers are inevitably restricted, and so if you want to come it has to be a case of first come first served. If you would like to reserve a place, please email Louise on firstname.lastname@example.org and include your mobile number so we can contact you if need be on the day.
Unfortunately no dogs will be allowed, and parents/grandparents/guardians must be responsible for their children throughout the session.
We hope to see you there!
