Kew Sparkle 2018
December 7 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On Friday 7 December 2018, from 5-8pm, Kew Village will once again “light up” for our local community Christmas event.
A firm date in many local family diaries, Kew Sparkle brings together local schools, local volunteers, local stallholders and Kew residents and children to set the scene for the festive season.
Dozens of school children from local primary schools will be showing off their singing and instrumental talents. Shelle Luscombe will later lead the Christmas carol Sing-a-Long.
There will be entertainment for all – carousels and teacup rides for the young ones, rifle range and hammer for the older children. Santa’s Grotto, a firm favourite, will be there too.
There will be many stalls, carefully chosen and brought together by our Kew Sparkle Committee with an amazing array of Christmas gifts, homemade food and tantalising mulled wine and mince pies.
Local traders will also be involved – arranging their own fun events and keeping their doors open late into the evening.
This year Kew Sparkle will be raising funds for The Mulberry Centre, a charity which provides support and information for anyone affected by cancer, offering practical ways of enhancing physical, psychological and emotional well-being.
