Three gardens, new to the national scheme, are open in Marksbury Avenue: 26, 59 & 61.
These three neighbouring gardens reflect the enthusiasm and knowledge of their owners. One features many New Zealand natives and a variety of fruit trees including figs, apricots and vines.A trampoline is cleverly screened by black stemmed bamboo and copper beech. There is calming water and a camomile lawn. Another garden has evolved over 11 years and features separate areas not all visible from the house. There is a continuing process of experimenting with plants. The group provides variety and charm for the visitors.
