Talk: History of Heathrow Airport

This talk will explore the interesting history of Heathrow Airport using sources from the Heathrow Archive. The first flight took off from London Airport in 1946 and the Airport has played an important role in aviation history ever since. Join UWL archivist Anne-Marie Purcell to look at historical documents and artefacts representing over 70 years of history at Heathrow Airport.

Doors open 18.30 hrs; talk commences 19.00 hrs.
Parking available via Bessant Drive.

Tickets will be available at the door on the night. Kew Society Members: £3 ; Non-Members: £6
