There is an inventor in all of us; if you can solve a problem you are on your way to becoming an inventor. The word ‘inventor’ has an image problem – people still think you have to wear a bow tie and speak with a Viennese accent. Nothing is further from the truth. Some of the most elegant solutions to problems are in themselves very powerful inventions, and cost little mental effort to create. You don’t have to be a genius to invent things, but you must recognize a need and then come up with a solution.”
We are delighted to welcome Trevor Baylis, most famous for his wind-up Radio, who is coming along to talk to us about the ups and downs of his life as an Inventor as well as sharing some tips on how to think creatively or ‘or outside the box.’
All welcome—tickets on sale in the office.
