A programme of free exercise classes is being launched this week in North Sheen Recreation Ground in Kew.
The free sessions have been organised at the Recreation Ground as part of the Council’s Parks Improvement Programme which saw the installation of a new outdoor gym, a project that was championed by the Friends of North Sheen Rec. who had secured funding for the equipment through the London Marathon Charitable Trust.
Classes are designed for people who may not currently participate in any physical activity and where they aim to help improve physical health and well-being through exercise. The classes will be seen as introductory sessions which highlight how each piece of equipment benefits the user.
Specialist companies have been commissioned to deliver the supervised classes on the following dates:
Tuesday 5th September at 7pm
Friday 8th September at 9.30am
Saturday 9th September at 10.30am
Sunday 11th September at 11am
Places are limited and to reserve your place, please sign-up at the Pavilion Café in North Sheen Recreation Ground.
