Crocuses for Purple4Polio

Logo KHS

Thanks to the Kew Horticultural Society a thousand flowers should be blooming around Kew in the coming weeks.  It’s a project led by the Royal Horticultural Society, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Great Britain. The KHS bought the crocus corms [in support of Rotary’s polio Purple4Polio initiative] and shared them with the Kew Society, and the Pensford Field Environmental Trust. So Kew Gardens Station, the entrance to Pensford Field and the graveyard at St Anne’s Church will be adding a purple splash to cheer up the lengthening days.
