North Kew Parking Study – Exhibition and Meeting
January 15 @ 5:45 pm - 8:00 pm
Richmond Council is preparing to consult residents and businesses in North Kew (Kew Green and surrounding streets) on the possible implementation of a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ). The consultation follows consideration of a number of issues across the area, including petitions received by the Council from residents concerning the difficulties they have finding parking near their home due to parking by non-residents (including all day commuters and long stay). The consultation also takes into account the new residential developments in Brentford and the development of the Brentford Football Club stadium.
Prior to the launch of the consultation there will be an exhibition and public meeting, attended by Council officers and Kew ward councillors, to provide information and canvass views from local residents. This is intended to assist officers in preparing the consultation materials and to help local residents and businesses make an informed decision about how they wish to see parking managed in the area in future.
The exhibition and meeting will take place in St Anne’s Hall on Wednesday 15th January. The exhibition will be open from 5.45-7.00pm, with the public meeting taking place from 7.00-8.00pm. Council officers will be available to answer questions during the exhibition.
