We’re so grateful to all the local businesses that struggled to keep serving us through the crisis. Now as we tentatively come out of lockdown, those that had to close are starting to open up again, with social distancing measures in place to protect staff and customers.  Opening hours are not quite back to normal in some cases so we recommend checking websites for more information.

The Shoe Station is now open with new booths in place to allow safe shoe fitting. Please see their website for latest opening hours.

Kew Village Post Office has now reopened.  Opening hours will be 10.30-2.30 Monday to Friday, closed on Saturday and Sunday.  For other local post offices and to check the latest information please use the Post Office Branch Finder.

Newens Maids of Honour is open 7 days a week from 8.30-18.00 and offers free local delivery for orders over £20.

Squires Food & Wine, Sandycombe Road, is now open 9.00-18.00 Monday to Saturday and 9.00-14.00 on Sunday. KNA volunteers are working with Squires to collect and deliver groceries to vulnerable or self isolating customers – just call 020 8940 1962 with your orders.

Abhayam Food & Wine, Kew Green is open from 6.00-21.00. Their Kew Essentials branch on Mortlake Terrace is also open for household supplies.

Olivers Wholefood – Station Parade is currently open from 7.00-20.00 Monday to Saturday and from 10.00-18.00 on Sunday.

Pethers Butchers – Station Parade is open 8.00-18.00 Monday to Friday and 8.00-17.00 on Saturday.  They can take orders by phone for collection in the shop on 020 8940 0163.  They also have some volunteers in place to make deliveries for the elderly and vulnerable.

Sift Coffee and Cakes is now open for takeaway Wednesday to Saturday from 9.00-14.00.  They are still offering their online ordering service (fruit and veg box, baked goods and store cupboard essentials) but now it’s pick up only on Wednesday, with order cut-off on Monday. Delivery available by arrangement if you are self-isolating. Minimum order is £30.

The Good Wine Shop is now open from Wednesday to Sunday 11.00-19.00.   Online ordering is still available for delivery.

Zita Elze flower shop is now open from 9.00-16.00 Monday to Saturday.   Online and telephone orders can be made outside those hours.   Please email or phone if you’d like to discuss availability and delivery.

Martin’s Newsagents is open from 7.00-18.00 on Monday to Saturday and 7.00-13.00 on Sunday.

Tesco Express in the Village is now closed for refurbishment and will reopen on July 25th.

Across the bridge, Hammond’s Butchers and Delicatessen is open Monday 10.00-13.00 (no meat or fish), Tuesday to Friday 9.00-18.00, Saturday 9.00-17.00 and Sunday 10.00-16.00.  They have a full range of meat, fresh fish, fruit and veg, cheeses, bread and deli items.

Also over the bridge, Sainsbury’s Local is open daily from 7.00-21.00.

Kew Dry Cleaners and Laundrette on Sandycombe Road is open from 7.00-16.00 Monday to Saturday for dry cleaning, service washes for clothes and wash and iron services for shirts, trousers and bed linen.   The laundrette is open for self service washes from 7.00-21.00 every day.

Kew Convenience Store on North Road is open from 8.00-22.oo every day.  Delivery is available – call 020 8878 0899.

B&Q in Chiswick is now open.

FS Car Valeting Professionals based in the car park at the back of the Pig & Whistle pub on Sheen Lane has now re-opened and taking all measures to keep safe during this pandemic.

Nicolas Wine Shop has replaced Oddbins at 5, Station Parade and is now open for business Wednesday to Sunday from 10:30- 19.00.
