Kew Society

The Kew Society, which is more than 100 years old, is an influential organisation dedicated to enhancing the beauty and character of Kew with its historic legacy of buildings and green spaces.

The Society looks at all planning applications in the area where they have an impact on the community, it comments on national and local planning policies, and protects the environment, campaigning against noise and air pollution from Heathrow, and working with other organisations to enhance the river towpath and our other green spaces.

We hold many and varied events for our members which include talks, walks, specialised tours, both local and further afield and social gatherings.

In 1987 the Kew Society became a registered charity.
