Kew Society Walk – Footsteps around Farringdon

The Kew Society is delighted that Helen Bartolome, Blue Badge Guide and Kew Society member has kindly agreed to lead another of her fascinating walks – this time focused around the historic Farringdon area, bordering the City of London.
The stroll around this area will uncover its history and note the considerable changes which are occurring – Farringdon is a stop on the Elizabeth Line; Smithfield Meat Market, which has been associated with the wholesale trading of meat since medieval times, is soon to relocate to Dagenham – some of its buildings will house the new Museum of London.
