The History and Creation of Frames

The Friends of St Anne’s invite you to a talk by Julia Korner.  Julia is a specialist and lecturer in fine art conservation and restoration. She will speak on the history and evolution of frames in Europe, with insights into their design, selection and gilding techniques through time, and then look at their construction, conservation and how they can transform a painting.

Coffee will be served at 10.30am and the talk will begin at 11.00am.
