Beekeeper wanted for Westerly Ware
The Westerly Ware Association is looking for a new beekeeper to take over the management and ownership of the park bee hives. Bees have been kept at Westerly Ware since 2013 and the hives are kept in a safe enclosure surrounded by beautiful flower beds and blossom trees. The current beekeeper is no longer able to maintain them, so there is an opportunity for someone local to take over the hives and the space. Ideally it will be someone with some experience of beekeeping who can manage them safely in a public environment. Secure storage space is available in the shed on site for equipment and WWA just asks that the beekeeper maintains the enclosure and donates a few jars of honey for their annual raffle.
