Explore the ever-changing world of espionage and security threats through original case files, photographs and papers, alongside the real equipment used by spies and spy-catchers over MI5’s 115-year history.

Happy & Glorious

This is a groundbreaking, joint exhibition between The National Archives and the Government Art Collection, reflecting on the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.  It combines artworks commissioned from eight leading artists offering their own take on the Coronation’s significance to them and their communities with the earliest (Edward II – 1308)  and latest (Charles III – 2023) coronation rolls – the official records of the coronation of a monarch.
