St Luke’s House Community Survey

For over 40 years, St Luke’s House has quietly supported the heart of community life in Kew. Originally a Victorian school building, it was saved from closure in the 1980s and handed to the community, becoming a home for creativity, learning, care, and connection.

Today, St Luke’s House is used by many local groups, from children’s karate classes to adult choirs, art studios to therapy sessions. But after years of heavy use, parts of the building now urgently need renovation, including major electrical upgrades, better toilets, a new kitchen and a new flexible space for daytime hire.

The team at St Luke’s are applying for funding from Richmond Council’s Community Fund to help make these vital improvements happen. And they need your help.

They’re asking local residents and users, whether you’ve been to a party here once, or run a class every week, to take a minute and complete their short community survey.

Every response will help show how much this building means to Kew, and why it needs investment now to stay safe, affordable and accessible for the future.

The deadline for responses is Wednesday 30th July.
