Kew Fete – a Word from our Sponsors!

SPONSORS OLD AND NEW ARE STEPPING UP TO SUPPORT THIS YEAR’S KEW FETE

As many local residents will know, Kew Fete, happening this year on Saturday 20th June, has fund-raising at its heart and relies on the generosity of sponsors and supporters to maximise the donations made to local good causes. Last year £21, 986 was divided between 16 local charities, supporting the elderly, young people with disabilities and mental health issues, environmental charities and local food banks. Since 2010 nearly £250,000 has been donated by the Fete.

We are lucky to have Richmond Vets, our longest standing sponsor once again staging the ever-popular Dog Show. The Show will be more anticipated than ever, having been cancelled last year for the first time ever, due to extreme heat. It’s a wonderful chance to show off Kew’s best pooches in 7 different categories from Best Old Dog to Best Puppy to Best Trick.

Thirsty locals will be glad to know The Coach & Horses pub is again running our brilliant Beer Tent, a must for any local Fete, while Brentford FC is pledging their sponsorship and an appearance by fun-loving bee mascots, Buzz and Buzzette.

New this year is car sponsor Auto West London who will be showcasing Omoda and Jaecoo models parked on the Green, a must for any ‘petrol-heads’!

For other companies keen to showcase their brand to thousands of visitors, along with our publicity campaign, there are great sponsorship opportunities remaining for The Stage, our live music and talent entertainment which runs all day plus the Tea Tent which offers delicious home-made cakes and cookies and a place to rest and enjoy a cuppa amid all the excitement.

As always, Ambassador Services and Living-In Magazines continue to be loyal supporters of this much-loved community event which is aiming to attract a team of locals keen to form a new Committee.
