KNA Needs Volunteer Drivers – Could That Be You?

Do you have a little spare time, access to a car, and a kind heart? Kew Neighbourhood Association (KNA) is looking for volunteer drivers to help local residents get to medical appointments and essential activities.

Most people we help are older or less mobile, and a lift from a friendly volunteer makes a world of difference—not just for the practical support, but for the connection and reassurance it brings.

We cover residents of Kew. Most of our trips are in and local to Kew, with occasional trips to local hospitals and clinics. Journeys are arranged around your availability—there’s no pressure, and even one lift a month helps.

Why volunteer? As one of our current drivers puts it, “You give an hour, but you receive a genuine sense of purpose and appreciation.” It’s also a lovely way to connect with your community.
